Field Unit

Field Unit brings back the classic segment LCD: big slanted digits, solid dark segments on a light display, and a ring of progress blocks around the edge. It keeps a full day of watch data in view without looking like a spreadsheet wearing a bezel.

• Large segment clock with awake seconds and the date, in 12- or 24-hour time.
• Weather header with current temperature, daily high and low, rain chance, and dot-matrix condition graphics.
• Six configurable fields: four in the middle row and two in the lower row (sunrise and sunset by default). Choices include heart rate, resting heart rate, steps, Body Battery, stress, calories, floors, active minutes, moon phase, watch battery, sunrise, sunset, notifications, temperature, rain chance, humidity, UV index, wind speed, and weather summary.
• The progress ring can follow steps toward the daily goal or daylight elapsed.
• Five LCD presets: Olive, Sand, Ice, Amber, and Paper.
• Optional awake seconds and hold-to-cycle field shortcuts.
• Missing readings show dashes. Weather older than two hours fades to gray.

Field Unit uses Garmin-provided weather, health, activity, profile, and watch-status data. Available readings depend on the watch model, sensors, firmware, and Garmin data availability. It makes no external network requests and stores only preferences.
