Negative Space

Negative Space is a monochrome segment LCD: big ice-white digits with faint ghost segments, plain pixel type, a dot-matrix weather picture, and a ring of dots that fills as you move. It keeps a full day of watch data in view and leaves plenty of dark space around it.

• Large segment clock with ghost segments, awake seconds, and the day and date, in 12- or 24-hour time.
• Weather header with a dot-matrix condition picture, current temperature, the daily high and low, humidity, and UV index.
• Six configurable fields: four tiles (heart rate, Body Battery, steps, and watch battery by default) and two side fields (sunrise and sunset by default). Choices include heart rate, resting heart rate, steps, Body Battery, stress, calories, floors, active minutes, moon phase, watch battery, sunrise, sunset, notifications, temperature, rain chance, humidity, UV index, wind speed, and weather summary.
• The dot ring follows steps toward the daily goal or daylight elapsed.
• A status line flags low battery, stale weather, or a disconnected phone.
• A speech bubble shows how many notifications are waiting, and hides when there are none.
• Five LCD palettes: Ice, Paperwhite, Amber, Mint, and Red Alert.
• Optional awake seconds and hold-to-cycle field shortcuts.
• Missing readings show dashes. Weather older than two hours fades to gray.

Negative Space uses Garmin-provided weather, health, activity, profile, and watch-status data. Available readings depend on the watch model, sensors, firmware, and Garmin data availability. It makes no external network requests and stores only preferences.
