Solstice Ion

See your day from a different perspective. Solstice Ion pairs a textured Earth with day/night shading, subtle city lights, solar accents, and an icy digital clock.

• Earth imagery with a geographic grid and an optional location target.
• A daily solar clock ring, sunrise, sunset, and approximate moon phase.
• Current temperature, daily high and low, and weather condition icons.
• Battery level and notification count.
• Three customizable lower fields: heart rate, resting heart rate, steps, Body Battery, stress, calories, floors, or active minutes.
• Eight time colors and eight accent colors, optional seconds, glow, and a brief optional wake animation.
• Cached-weather check intervals of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, one hour, or two hours.
• Hold a lower field to cycle its metric. Hold the weather area to open Garmin Weather where supported.

The globe uses the last available GPS location, a saved location, or weather coordinates as an approximate fallback. It does not track GPS continuously. Earth clouds and city-light imagery are historical, decorative assets, not live satellite observations. The Sun ring is a daily solar clock, not a physical orbital model.

Weather comes from Garmin's cached weather service and depends on available data and connectivity. Missing measurements show dashes. Current temperature is actual temperature, not feels-like. Health values depend on your watch and Garmin data availability. Moon phase is approximate. During normal inactivity the face clears to black; a dim clock and date appear when supported firmware reports bedtime Sleep Mode.
